Dior Homme is one of the most successful fragrance lines for the Christian Dior House alongside its other ultra-popular line Dior Sauvage. The cologne was first created by Olivier Polge and was released in 2005. At that time, this fragrance was different because notes of iris were used in the cologne and this plant is traditionally used in perfumes. Then, Dior Homme got an update when Master Perfumer Francois Demachy oversaw Christian Dior fragrances.

Fragrance Notes
Francois Demachy introduced another iteration of Dior Homme in 2011, and it includes notes of atlas cedar, patchouli hearts, and vetiver. These plants are mainly grown in countries like India, Indonesia, and Morocco. This cologne has a nice fresh woody smell to it when you first spray it and dries down well on the skin. This fragrance can easily last between 6 to 7 hours and it’s the perfect scent for a date night. This can also be great to wear during the day while working in the office. Dior Homme is also very versatile and can be paired with other colognes like Sauvage that incorporate notes of bergamot and wood in its formulas.
