When it comes to complexion, Armani Beauty has some of the best products that will keep you looking beautiful. From the award-winning Luminous Silk Foundation to the popular Eye Tints, Armani has a product that will complete your makeup look. The Armani Team was gracious enough to send over a few of their top-selling products for me to test out and review.
The Award-Winning Foundation
When it comes to the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, I see why there is so much hype behind it. For years, beauty enthusiasts have raved about Luminous Silk and it even won an award from Allure magazine. So, I decided to see why so many people speak so highly of this Armani Beauty complexion product. I tried this medium-coverage foundation in the shade 13 deep, neutral. This was a spot-on match to my skin tone and felt super lightweight once I applied it.
Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
The iconic and lightweight Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation delivers flawless, medium buildable coverage and helps create a radiant, glowy finish for a natural makeup look. This foundation glides seamlessly onto the skin, leaving a finish that’s reminiscent of charmeuse silk. Available in 40 shades and a mini size for luminous, hydrated skin on the go.
Price: $69
This foundation comes in 40 different shades which is pretty standard for the beauty industry and could include even more shades throughout. These shades are divided into 5 categories Fair, Light, Medium, Tan, and Deep. So finding a shade that matches your complexion is more simplified and you can do a virtual try-on to double-check. You can also go into Sephora and self-swatch, which I feel is personally the best way to get your perfect shade. When I went to Sephora, I tried shades 13 and 13.25 but ultimately decided that 13 was the right fit.
Formulation and Finish
When it comes to the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation a little bit goes a long way. You only need 2 to 3 pumps of foundation to get coverage. This does not oxidize so the shade is pretty accurate once applied to the face. This foundation formula is also quite hydrating and a good fit for those of us with dry skin. But, Luminous Silk can also be used on women with oily/combination skin.
Many celebrity makeup artists like Melissa Hernandez who does glam looks for Sydney Sweeney, use Armani Luminous Silk. Several makeup artists have spoken highly of how this foundation leaves a satin finish on the skin. I was amazed at how it felt like second skin after using it.
I would recommend this foundation for that no-makeup, makeup look. The coverage is buildable and allows the natural radiance of your skin to peek through. This is definitely a foundation to use for nice occasions like a wedding or an upscale dinner.
This foundation features a Micro-fil™ Technology that helps pigment to lay flat to create a seamless application. It’s best to apply Luminous Silk with a Beautyblender sponge or brush.
For $69, you get 1 fl oz of product which should last you about 12 months. The Luminous Silk Foundation has a luxury designer price point since it is founded by well-known Fashion Designer, Giorgio Armani. You do get premium packaging for the price. This silky formula is encapsulated in a frosted glass bottle with a black pump, and cap that has the logo perched on top. If you do want to save some money on your Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, look to shop at Macy’s, Bloomingdales, or the Armani website when they mark the foundation down between 15%-25%.
Armani Eye Tint
The Armani Beauty Eye Tint is one product that every beginner beauty lover should have in their collection. I tested out the shade 36M Leather for my Latte Makeup look, and it glided along my eyelids like butter. This comes in a shimmer and matte formula that dries down to a beautiful satin finish. I appreciate how you get plenty of time to play with the shadow and blend it out. It’s great if you’re just getting into doing makeup and want something that’s natural-looking and easy to build.
Armani Eye Tint
This buildable liquid eyeshadow features pure color pigments in a water-infused formula for high-impact color that glides on smoothly and blends easily. The multipurpose applicator allows for a variety of bold eyeshadow, eyeliner, and smoky eye looks, no eyeshadow primer required.
Price: $36
The Armani Eye Tint is good for travel because of the compact size, you can leave your larger eyeshadow palettes at home. This water-based formula is encapsulated in a unique trapezoid-shaped bottle with a black twist and lock cap. You can find this liquid shadow in 21 different colors with some gorgeous silver and amethyst metallic hues. I tested this out on my Latte Makeup look to see just how long-wearing it is. The Armani Beauty Eye Tint lasted well over 5 hours when I attended an art exhibition in Brooklyn.
Armani Liquid Bronzing Drops
When it comes to the summertime, bronzing is an essential part of a makeup routine. So, it only makes sense that Armani Beauty releases their own Luminous Silk Bronzing Drops exclusive to Nordstrom right now. This is formulated with SPF 15 and comes in 3 different shades Light, Medium, and Deep. I tried the shade 110 Deep, and it’s great for deeper complexions because it warms up the face and melts right into the skin. I take the liquid dropper and squirt about two pumps on each side of my face and blend it out with a Beautyblender. The finish from this is beautiful and will be the cherry on top for your dewy summer-bronzed makeup look.
Overall, these inclusive complexion products will be a great addition to your makeup collection. Armani Beauty and L’Oreal have spent some time in the lab thoughtfully crafting the best makeup products that will make you feel beautiful inside and out.
