The Crocs x Barbie™ Collection Dropped Viral Sparkly Pink Clogs

The Barbie™ x Crocs collection was filled with sparkly hot pink shoes and Jibbitz™ of iconic Barbie charms like the skates, boombox, and the Malibu car. Crocs teased the collaboration on Instagram leaning heavily into the nostalgia and showcasing the “Barbiecore Crocs” in a very colorful, fun, and playful way. After seeing some reviews on TikTok about the collection I knew I needed to get a few pieces for myself.

The Different Styles

Crocs brought 4 different styles to the collection. The first is the Barbie™ Mega Crush Clog, a sky-high platform shoe covered in the Barbie™ movie print. The midsole is filled with pink glitter and accessorized with charms from the film like the disco ball and cowboy hat. Next, the second style I picked up is the regular Barbie™ Clog. This was one of the most popular styles for the Crocs brand. This clog has a pink upper sole, with the midsole filled with a print of Barbie’s head in pink splashed on a white background. On top, you have Barbie™ Jibbitz™ on the left and right clog with the Barbie™ name on the back.

The third style from the Barbie™ x Crocs collection was the Crush Clog which came in black and pink. You get a thicker sole in pink with a silver back strap to put your Crocs into “sport mode“. Plus, you also get charms of Barbie’s heels, bag, and her car. If you like your Crocs to have more height and make a fashion statement then go with the Crush Clog. The last style I picked up from the collection is the Barbie™ Sandal. It’s the perfect shoe for the Spring/Summer time. These slides have a plush pink fuzzy lining with Jibbitz™ of the Barbie™ name in cursive, sunglasses, and her pink glitter bag.

Croc Comfort

I purchased shoes from this collection mainly because of the design details and the comfort that Crocs is known for. The Barbie™ Clog uses Croc’s proprietary material Croslite. This is a closed-cell resin material that makes the shoe lightweight and comfortable. The sandals also alleviate pressure from the heels and balls of your feet making it easy to walk in these all day. I like to wear my Crocs around the house or when I’m out and about running errands. These clogs have a bold personality and I usually make them the vocal point of my outfit.

Barbie-Mania

Many brands like Crocs put their own spin on what it means to be a “Barbie Girl” for the film release. The exclusive Mega Crush style sold out online in minutes and many of the other styles were going quickly. The collection was well thought out and brought some fashionable shoes to Barbie lovers like myself.
