The Best Levi’s Denim Styles

Full YouTube Haul of Levi’s Styles

Levi’s is a brand that dominates when it comes to creating classic, trend-worthy denim styles. Levi Strauss even co-invented the blue jeans, and now generations later people are still wearing their favorite Trucker jackets and jeans.

The Trucker Jacket

The Trucker jacket is a staple and classic style at Levi’s. The Ex-Boyfriend and the Orginal Trucker is a must-have piece to own in your wardrobe. These jackets come in a variety of washes from light stonewashed to dark indigo. You can do a denim on denim style wearing the jacket with jeans that have a similar wash. The best feature of the Trucker jacket is its oversized silhouette which allows you to play with layering and getting a more relaxed look. Plus, Levi’s has done several iterations of the jackets for collaborations with brands like Super Mario, Bape, and Lego. Some of the Trucker jackets are a classic wash while others feature unique detailing like fringe and denim patchwork.

The Wedgie

The Wedgie is the second most sought-after style of Levi’s denim after the 501’s. I hear all the time from YouTubers and customers about how they love how the Wedgie fits. The jean comes in a straight and skinny leg with a looser shape between the thighs. The best feature of the Wedgie is how it accentuates your backside making it more pronounced. This jean uses more heavyweight denim and can be stylized with rips at the knees or just a plain wash. Many of the jeans like the Wedgie from Levi’s are Waterless, meaning they use minimal amounts of water for the finishing process of the jeans. This initiative helps in reducing the use of precious resources like water to find more environmentally friendly ways of producing denim.

The 311 Skinny Shaping

The 311 Skinny Shaping is one of my favorite styles from Levi’s because the denim is soft and lightweight with a flexible waistband. This style is designed for comfort in mind with fabric that helps to sculpt and enhance your curves. The Elastane in the fabric allows for more stretch while the cotton allows the jeans to breathe and quickly absorb sweat. Any of the 311 have a fitted look through the thighs and legs and then taper off at the end with the hem hitting above the ankle. The 311 is great at retaining its shape, every time I wash my 311 they always continue to have that same soft feel. These jeans are the perfect everyday jeans to wear whether you are running errands for the day or hanging out with friends at night.

The 724 Straight Leg

The 724 comes in straight and cropped-styled jeans. These are also a lightweight stretchy denim similar to the 311. These jeans come with a lot of personality, several styles come distressed at the knees or with chewed hems. This style is a looser fit at the bottom and fitted more in the thigh area. The 724’s are jeans that make a statement so pairing them with a more neutral-toned outfit will help in making these jeans the centerpiece of your outfit. The 724’s are a great pair of jeans to wear to a casual lunch.

The Ribcage

The Ribcage is the ultimate go-to when it comes to high-waisted jeans. These jeans go past the midriff and cinch your waist in on the sides giving that hourglass look. The Ribcage is similar to the Wedgie in the respect that it is a heavier denim that showcases a straight leg. This is a popular style and many women pair these high-waisted jeans with a nice button-down shirt and booties. You can also elevate the Ribcage jean with a blazer or blouse and wear the look to the office, brunch, or a restaurant.

The Classic 501

The 501 jeans are the holy grail for Levi’s and the bread and butter for the brand. It comes in 2 styles, jeans, and jean shorts. The main difference between the 501 and other styles is the zipper, these classic jeans feature a button fly where you button your zip all the way to the top. The button fly on the 501 definitely pulls your waist in more giving a tighter fit around the stomach. Since these jeans are a classic for Levi’s they come in a wide variety of washes and prints. Many 501s have a vintage look and showcase a more worn-in style.
