Guerlain Shades and Ingredients
When it comes to lipstick, I usually shy away from matte formulas since those can be a bit drying. Lipsticks like Guerlain’s KissKiss Shine Bloom are hydrating and add moisture to your lips. This is formulated with nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, organic shea butter, and winter rose extract oil that hydrate and soften lips for several hours. Available in 20 different shades, I purchased shade 819 Corolla Rouge, which gives a beautiful red hue. Several shades come in pink, lavender, or light red colors with a nice shine to them.
Performance and Wearability
KissKiss Shine Bloom is definitely a compliment-getter, and people always ask me what lipstick I’m wearing or tell me how nice the color is. You can wear this lipstick for day-to-night events. This formula lasts all day, and I usually just reapply once more after eating or drinking. I enjoy how buildable the coverage of this lipstick is and how lightweight it feels. It has a balm-like texture that’s soft with a light fragrance that reminds me of nature.

If I apply KissKiss Shine Bloom once, it gives a nice light finish that looks almost like a tinted lip oil, but once I build it up, it gives a more full-coverage look. Plus, it comes in beautiful gold packaging with a top cap that clicks and a rotating base with the Guerlain name etched at the bottom. I like how skincare and makeup are blended together in this lipstick, and keep my lips looking nourished, smooth, and plump.
