My Thoughts On The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Skin Tint and Pro Filt’r Foundation

Three images of the Fenty Beauty Foundation and Skin Tint.

Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty took us all by storm seven years ago when she launched her inclusive 40-shade range foundation line. The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundation gives a beautiful soft matte finish, that helps you achieve that Tik Tok viral glass skin makeup look. While the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Skin Tint gives a soft blurring finish perfect for your “no makeup” makeup days. I decided to test out both products to see what all the hype was about around Ms.Riri and her beauty brand.

The Iconic Fenty Shade Ranges

Fenty Beauty launched with 40 inclusive shade ranges and has since grown to 50. In the Pro Filt’r line, I am shade 420 which is for women with tan to deep skin with warm undertones. In the Fenty Eaze Drop line, I am shade 20 which is for women with deep skin that have golden undertones. If you know your Pro Filt’r shade, then there is an Eaze Drop shade available for you.

The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop line comes in 25 different shades. This skin tint helps to blur and refine pores while giving your face a healthy glow. The Pro Filt’r comes in 50 unique shades. This long-wearing foundation feels lightweight and comfortable on the skin.

Now I will say, the foundation and skin tint does oxidize. So don’t be alarmed when you pump out the formula and apply it to your face and the shade looks a bit off. It takes about a minute or two to oxidize with the air and really match your true skin tone.

I was super nervous trying out shade 420 because of the color, but after about a minute, the foundation just melts into my skin matching my undertones perfectly. Fenty Beauty has demonstrated since its launch why inclusive shade ranges are so important for diversity. Since then, Rihanna has expanded her foundation lines to include powder formulas, skin tints, and a hydrating line for dry skin.

Fenty Beauty Formula and Packaging

The Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r has a thinner consistency so it’s best to shake this foundation and then apply. This has been re-formulated since its launch and incorporates vegan ingredients. The formula is fragrance-free and noncomedogenic to help your pores breathe. You get buildable medium to full coverage using the Pro Filt’r.

The packaging for the foundation feels very luxurious. The frosted glass bottle has some nice weight to it with a white pump to dispense the formula. The white cap clicks to the pump base making sure it’s sealed. Plus, you have the Fenty logo etched on the front of the bottle.

The Eaze Drop Skin Tint gives you more light to medium coverage and takes a few applications to build up. You can squeeze the formula through the tube top and apply it with your hands or a Beautyblender. This skin tint incorporates vegan ingredients that give a nice, soft finish.

I like to use my Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Skin Tint for a lighter makeup look on those hot summer days. I usually sheer it out with a Beautyblender for nice, light coverage. The skin tint is great to take on the go when traveling. The packaging is lightweight, and the formula comes in a geometric tube with a white twist and lock cap. Both formulas boast about being sweat, humidity, and transfer resistant. I decided to test out those claims on my days out in New York City and Jersey City.

Performance and Wearability

I tested the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Skin Tint on my day out in New York. I squeezed some of this creamy formula along my cheeks and forehead. Then, blended it out and finished my “no makeup” makeup look. After taking the PATH into New York City and doing some shopping, I can say 8 hours later the skin tint held up well. I only needed a touch-up once and I still had a beautiful, soft makeup look.

For the Pro Filt’r Foundation, I tested it out when I attended a cookout at Liberty State Park in Jersey City. I use about three pumps of foundation and blend it out with my Beautyblender. I give it a minute to oxidize and then I apply the rest of my makeup. After 6 hours outside in the sun I can say Pro Filt’r helped to keep my oil at bay.

Overall, both are really good picks to add to your foundation and skin tint lineup. I can definitely see why there was so much hype around Rihanna’s complexion products.

At this time it seems like WordPress is the top blogging platform available right now.
(from what I’ve read) Is that what you are using on your blog?
