Quinta Brunson and her Emmy-Award-Winning show Abbott Elementary returned for their much anticipated third season on February 7th after a long writers/actors strike. For the new season, we see her character Janine Teagues change roles now working for the district and change her style too.

In the opening scenes, of episodes one and two Janine stands up to pitch the idea of having a career day at Abbott in her Nike outfit. She’s sporting a more relaxed, athleisure look wearing the new Nike Women’s Velour Polo in a bright coral color. This oversized, comfy fit features velour fabric that has a soft texture and shine to it. Plus, it has slouchy arms with a cinched waist at the bottom for a roomier feel. I also like the geometric square pattern used throughout the silhouette with the classic Nike swoosh on the left side.
Janines New Style
For this episode of Abbott Elementary, Quinta paired her Nike polo top with some classic Nike Pegasus shoes. These sneakers are comfortable to walk in with a stylish look. I like how her Nike shoes use a similar colorway with a pop of orange in the laces and on the side. This new style shows a huge switchup from previous seasons where Janine would dress in more preppy school teacher outfits. It moves away from her wearing more of the traditional dresses and has Janine in a current on-trend athletic look.
