The new Creative Director for Gucci, Sabato De Sarno recently debuted the revamped Gucci Horsebit Chain Bag for his Fall/Winter season collection. Since releasing the Gucci bag it has quickly caught on with celebrities like Rihanna, Dua Lipa, and Dakota Johnson. The Horsebit Chain Bag is a house classic thanks to previous designer, Tom Ford. Over the years, there have been several iterations of the bag with it coming in different colorways and fabrications.
Rihanna Rocks The “IT” Gucci Bag
The Gucci Horsebit Chain Bag has this puffy, quilted design that’s become trendy in fashion and popular among luxury brands. This comes in a medium and small size with inside card slots and pockets. You get plenty of room to store essentials like your wallet, keys, and lipgloss.
Multi-hyphenate, Rihanna, wore the small Gucci Horsebit Chain Bag in this red and black GG canvas logo print version on a date night with her boo A$SAP Rocky. The bag compliments her red-hot chili bodysuit that she layered with long pants and a thigh-length skirt.
She also wore the Horsebit Bag in the black, medium version for her date night on Mother’s Day. Rihanna stepped out in a red Commes des Garcons t-shirt that she layered over a thigh-high slit dress. De Sarno uses a subtle, minimalistic fashion approach to let you know it’s a Gucci heritage piece. The Horsebit Bag utilizes the double ring and bar hardware in the front to signal that it’s a signature bag.
